Stepping up into this homely countryside retreat you will soon notice the idyllic blend of character, period features and style.

The opening porch space is perfect to slip off those walking boots after a day of trekking across the surrounding trails, and is also where you can access the first bathroom within the home, which contains a free-standing bath and WC.

Venturing further into the home will bring you to the living area, which sits two comfortable sofas and an additional armchair from which to enjoy the crackle and pop from the roaring open fire, all whilst enjoying your favourite films on the Smart TV. Passing through the beautifully presented dining space will take you up to the kitchen which along with the combined utility room will provide all the appliances needed for a stress-free stay. There is also a chic breakfast bar here for those morning cuppas planning the day’s adventures ahead. Completing the lower floor is the downstairs shower room beside the utility space.

Making your way up the stairway will bring you to the four bedrooms. Two bedrooms provide super-king size beds, with one providing the luxury of an en-suite bathroom. With the remaining two bedrooms offering a king-size and a double bed. All bedrooms provide ample clothing space and fabulous exposed beams as featured throughout the home.

The cottage is blessed with two spacious gardens from which to take in the peaceful surrounds if the Quantock hills, the rear garden provides an outdoor dining set and spacious lawn, perfect for those al-fresco breakfasts, whereas the front garden has the added luxury of a private hot tub in addition to the further spacious lawn area, allowing you to truly relax on this countryside getaway.
